(Millersburg, Ohio) – On January 28th, Pomerene Hospital will continue to administer COVID-19 vaccinations to those individuals categorized in the second group of Phase 1B under Ohio’s COVID-19 Vaccination Plan. The 1B group includes individuals age 70 and older.

Under Phase 1B, all available vaccines will be directed to those who choose to be vaccinated and meet the requirement of age 70 and older. At this time, the supply of vaccinations to our county are intermittent and very limited which may restrict availability. Please note that it is possible for individuals to be placed on a waitlist.

Vaccinations will begin on Thursday, February 4th, by appointment only, in the Pomerene Hospital Auditorium. Please call our vaccination scheduling line at 330-674-1584, extension 1066 to schedule now. Additional instructions will be given during the scheduling process.

You may also call the Holmes County General Health District to schedule your vaccination at their location by calling 330-674-5035.

Updates concerning Pomerene vaccination availability and scheduling for other age groups will be announced in local newspapers, local radio, our Facebook page, and our website www.pomerene.org.
